This is probably the most unique Patchouli oil that you'll ever find!
Patchouli oil has a Grounding and Balancing effect on the emotions. It is remarkably versatile and widely used in skin care applications, natural perfumery, and meditation.
Use this oil in diffuser blends for relaxing or to add a romantic touch in sensual blends (with jasmine or rose), or spiritually in meditation.
The plant is native to tropical regions of south and east Asia, and is now extensively cultivated from China to Africa. Patchouli is an herb of the mint family - albeit quite a distinctive mint.
Also known as: "Hippy Juice", or Patchouli/ Patchouly.
The word derives from the Tamil "Patchai", which means green, and "Ellai" which means Leaf.
Far from smelling like the hippidy dippidy patchouli's of the 1960's, and an even further cry from the synthetic patchouli compositions often sold as Indian Incense or Indian Perfume Oils - this is the most decadent Patchouli you'll ever find.
It is a well-known and ancient aphrodisiac.
